Mike Kafka, Northwestern's Starting Quarterback

Mike Kafka, the starting quarterback for Northwestern University's Wildcats visited the Wilmette Catholic Football varsity and junior varsity practice sessions this afternoon - in the driving cold rain - with a colleague of his who played linebacker for the cats. Great guys!

Mike was born on 19870725, Walter Payton's 33rd birthday - actually day ONE (1) of Walter Payton's 34th year here in this world. Walter Payton's number was/is #34. Mike's numerical age today was/is 8125 which factors into ON (65) X 125.

P.S. Back in August 0f 1976 I was a 5th string walk-on QB for the Northwestern Wildcats under the late coach and AD John Pont. For what amounted to a very brief "cup of coffee" before I turned in my football cleats, my number was the same as Mike Kafka's # 13.
