Memorializing 89 Along Route 41

The Bears retired Mike Ditka's jersey #89 during the 1/2 ceremonies of a bitterly cold Monday Night Football game against the Dallas Cowboys.  The date was 12/9/13.

PS.  Earlier in the evening my odometer hit 89.0 miles at EXACTLY 8:11 pm which mirrors 8/11 the Divine Birthdate.  I thought I captured this fact in a video but as it turned out I didn't press the button on my iPhone hard enough.

There's an addition story about this evening involving a blanket and one couple - Cowboy fans from Santa Monica CA - and a family from the south side of Chicago who were Bears fans.  The key address was 2312 N Lawndale in Chicago.  I won't go into the details of this story on this blog post for it's very personal and special in nature.  12/9/13 was EXACTLY 2312 days from August 11th in the year 2007.  2007 was a very special year for it factors into the prime of 223 X 9 - in non-leap years August 11th is always the 223rd day of the year.

There was a connection with St. Ignatius Loyola that threaded through this story which connected 4 days later with the address 2316 N Southport in Chicago.  12/13/13 - 4 days later - was 2316 days from August 11, 2007, the same Divine Birthdate in that special year.
